£7.00 | United Kingdom | Would love the major companies to change the rules about the percentage of royalties that the musicians get. They do the whole job (songwritting, performing, touring), and they get paid only a tiny amount and from only the sold albums.. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United States | 7 pounds for their 7th album. Plus, it happens to work out to about 14 dollars, which is what I would normally pay for the CD anyway. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | Worth every penny. I paid that much as I will be getting the other tracks from my brother. Discbox?: No CD?: No |
£7.00 | United States | pay up. this means more than just a price of a cd. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | Finland | I would've paid more for it, had been available in CD format. However, this way I got it at a very reasonable price, as new CDs usually cost around 18 euro here. I'll purchase the discbox later if I really like the album. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | I paid the average price for a download email Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | Finland | i've bought all the albums but downloaded the bsides.. thought i'd pay a bit more then 5 euros for that reason... Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | 7th album 7 colours 'in rainbows' -- seemed about right. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | It's nice to know my money goes straight into radiohead pockets. Even if this album's rubbish it's still a nice little thank you for the 5 brilliant one's before that. Discbox?: Not applicable - I already ordered the discbox CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | I wouldn't normally pay for any music without listening to it first and I download quite a bit of music for free. I don't own CDs and I don't agree with DRM. Napster (subscription) was a great idea and I was a customer for several months until it kept messing up (because of the DRM). As well as being a Radiohead fan I respect that Radiohead are trying to draw attention to the music publishing industry needing some changes. And they can't lose because people who won't pay will grab it for free anyway. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United States | i paid more or less what i would normally pay for a cd. while that may be a bit much for a download version of an album, i really just want to support the experiment. i will still buy the discbox when available. Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.02 | United States | I am more than happy to pay $15 to people who THINK. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.20 | United Kingdom | 720 seemed like the most interesting number between 500 and 1000. And yes, I did check the Wikipedia articles for numbers between 500 and 1000 to come to that decision. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.45 | United States | While I know it's not what Brittans pay for CDs, it's slightly above what I normally pay for CDs here in the states (came out to be just over $15 US Dollars with the exchange rate). I think this is very cool what Radiohead has done and hope that other bands will do the same. Send the message to RIAA that they need to stop suing their customers. Bands like Radiohead are managing their own distribution and do not need the multi-layed B.S. that RIAA tacks on. Bravo Thom and Jonny ... et. al. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.50 | United Kingdom | Bit dissapointed it's only 160kbps Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.50 | United Kingdom | Radiohedgefund. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.50 | United States | Well, MP3 is worth whatever you'll pay for it, since music sounds horrible compressed, so yes, I'll eventually buy the CD. But I'm puzzled as why a "progressive" band wouldn't release in SACD or DVD-A, but would issue an incredibly expensive diskbox containing (among other things) two 12 inch circular pieces of useless (to 99.9% of listeners) black plastic. Discbox?: No CD?: Yes |
£7.50 | United States | Amazing. Discbox?: No CD?: No |
£7.99 | United Kingdom | I chose the price I chose because it was the amount I would pay to download any other album. As well as that, I like Radiohead enough to give them my money (understatement). Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
I hope this becomes the standard and explodes the antiquated shit factory that is the recording industry.
