£40.00 | United Kingdom | If I didn't make that tough bank breaking desicion to buy the box set would have paid about £7.50 I think. But the allure of all that impractical and heavy vinyl won out in the end. Discbox?: Not applicable - I already ordered the discbox CD?: Not Answered* |
£40.00 | United Kingdom | great market insight. Of course i (along with most radiohead fans) would pay for the full whack. Discbox?: Not applicable - I already ordered the discbox CD?: Not Answered* |
£20.00 | United Kingdom | I like radiohead a lot, but early radiohead isn't my kind of dish. I thought £20 covered the first 3 albums which I downloaded for free and the copy of Kid A I did for my friend, on top of In Rainbows. Like many a person, I am disgusted by the RIAA and believe that we should encourage a system where the artist gets paid in full for their services. Discbox?: No CD?: Undecided |
£20.00 | United Kingdom | Been ripping Radiohead off for years, thought it was time to balance the books. Discbox?: No CD?: No |

£10.00 | United Kingdom | Novel idea from a band who actually put their money where their mouth is whether it be on politics or now on how they release their music. I chose a tenner because I think it recognises the value of the artists and the fact that without them having to pay a huge whack on promoting and advertising a product that people already want to buy, the largest part of the money will go back to the band. I'll be interested to see what they do about track listings, booklet etc. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | fantastic idea, seemed like a fair price Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | This is a fantastic move by Radiohead. A band of their size and importance has the necessary financial clout to take such a gamble and set the trends for the distribution of music in the years to come. A new business model is still to be found and perhaps it won't be just "one". Many business models might be created, each suitable for artists of a certain level of popularity, genre, etc. It will be very interesting to see where this leads...great time to be alive. £10.00 | United Kingdom | I'm giving them as much as I can afford right now. Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | Paid £10 as I think I owe them a few bob for some stuff I haven't paid for in the past. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | bargain! Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
More bands should do this. I'd often give a £2-£3 for an album where I wouldn't spend £8 to get it off Itunes.
