£12.00 | Ireland | Giving consumers trust in any situation is fiscally risky, but faith is often well placed. By creating choice between downloading substandard illegal downloads, or theoretically paying nothing for the high grade equivalent, I think consumers will choose the latter but be compelled to 'give' at least a little back for it. It's my view also, that of all music fans - Radiohead would have a proportion of ethical, passionate and honest ones. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£12.00 | United Kingdom | Love the band, I wouldn't have been a mean bastard. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£11.00 | United States | Hopefully all the money goes to line the pockets of Yorkes and Greenwoods alike. These english fellows are looking like they could use a hardy meal. :) Discbox?: No CD?: Yes |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | I had some regrets and asked for a refund which I could put towards a discbox. no reply Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | Novel idea from a band who actually put their money where their mouth is whether it be on politics or now on how they release their music. I chose a tenner because I think it recognises the value of the artists and the fact that without them having to pay a huge whack on promoting and advertising a product that people already want to buy, the largest part of the money will go back to the band. I'll be interested to see what they do about track listings, booklet etc. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | fantastic idea, seemed like a fair price Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |

£10.00 | Ireland | Well done radiohead! Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | This is a fantastic move by Radiohead. A band of their size and importance has the necessary financial clout to take such a gamble and set the trends for the distribution of music in the years to come. A new business model is still to be found and perhaps it won't be just "one". Many business models might be created, each suitable for artists of a certain level of popularity, genre, etc. It will be very interesting to see where this leads...great time to be alive. £10.00 | United Kingdom | I'm giving them as much as I can afford right now. Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United States | They deserve it. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United States | The idea that it goes pretty much straight to Radiohead makes it seem like money well spent, rather than another distortion a la The Kinks The Money-Go-Round. Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | Australia | Actually I live in Australia. It's a big continent in the southern hemipshere. You may of heard of it - Kylie Minogue lived her once. Anyway, Radiohead rock and congratulations to them for ramming up the arse of the decaying music industry. Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£10.00 | United Kingdom | Paid £10 as I think I owe them a few bob for some stuff I haven't paid for in the past. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |

£8.45 | United Kingdom | Based my decisionon the pricing of i-tunes tracks and wanted to support Radiohead in their efforts to distribute music in a different way cutting out the suits. Discbox?: No CD?: Yes |
£8.00 | United States | 8 pounds (what with the exchange rate) is roughly what I'd expect to pay for this CD in the states. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Undecided |
£8.00 | Portugal | It's a great ideia and all, but I'm not sure if it'll change the record industry. Maybe they'll view this as just a clever marketing trick, a new way to squeeze money out of people... I hope not. I don't know why I chose £8... My first impulse was to show my support for Radiohead, so I chose not to pay £0. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
Paid a little bit extra for the download, which I'm giving to a friend as I'm still buying the discbox. This sort of business model should be vigorously encouraged by the fans of those fearless enough to adopt it.
