£8.00 | United States | The idea of just supporting the band and not some "neo-con's" wallet makes me feel, I don't know, just so much more comfortable... mmm... Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£8.00 | United States | Paid roughly what I would be paying for a CD in the US and will definitely order the box set after the holidays. Saw the band live in Berkeley in May 2006 when they were fine tuning some of these tracks and have been anxiously awaiting their release. Seriously appreciate the willingness (and ability) of the band to seek out new business models for distribution of their music. I am not of the mindset that either intellectual or artistic content should be free. Additionally, I have had to change careers when I could no longer make a (modest) living publishing books. The used/resale market, combined with the publishers' inability to adapt its business model, shattered the careers of many. Been following the debate in music distribution very closely - Rock on Radiohead! Discbox?: Yes CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.99 | United Kingdom | I chose the price I chose because it was the amount I would pay to download any other album. As well as that, I like Radiohead enough to give them my money (understatement). Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.99 | United Kingdom | I couldn't bring myself to pay less than Itunes. sad twat. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.99 | United Kingdom | Because good music is worth the same (if not more) than a lot fo the other crap people download... Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |

£7.50 | United States | Well, MP3 is worth whatever you'll pay for it, since music sounds horrible compressed, so yes, I'll eventually buy the CD. But I'm puzzled as why a "progressive" band wouldn't release in SACD or DVD-A, but would issue an incredibly expensive diskbox containing (among other things) two 12 inch circular pieces of useless (to 99.9% of listeners) black plastic. Discbox?: No CD?: Yes |
£7.50 | United States | Amazing. Discbox?: No CD?: No |
£7.45 | United States | While I know it's not what Brittans pay for CDs, it's slightly above what I normally pay for CDs here in the states (came out to be just over $15 US Dollars with the exchange rate). I think this is very cool what Radiohead has done and hope that other bands will do the same. Send the message to RIAA that they need to stop suing their customers. Bands like Radiohead are managing their own distribution and do not need the multi-layed B.S. that RIAA tacks on. Bravo Thom and Jonny ... et. al. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.20 | United Kingdom | 720 seemed like the most interesting number between 500 and 1000. And yes, I did check the Wikipedia articles for numbers between 500 and 1000 to come to that decision. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.02 | United States | I am more than happy to pay $15 to people who THINK. Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | Would love the major companies to change the rules about the percentage of royalties that the musicians get. They do the whole job (songwritting, performing, touring), and they get paid only a tiny amount and from only the sold albums.. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United States | 7 pounds for their 7th album. Plus, it happens to work out to about 14 dollars, which is what I would normally pay for the CD anyway. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | Worth every penny. I paid that much as I will be getting the other tracks from my brother. Discbox?: No CD?: No |
£7.00 | United States | pay up. this means more than just a price of a cd. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | Finland | I would've paid more for it, had been available in CD format. However, this way I got it at a very reasonable price, as new CDs usually cost around 18 euro here. I'll purchase the discbox later if I really like the album. Discbox?: Undecided CD?: Not Answered* |
£7.00 | United Kingdom | I paid the average price for a download email Discbox?: No CD?: Not Answered* |
